Diamonds are Forever

The other day while I was at work my neighbors house got broken into and they stole cash, and my neighbors diamond rings and some other misc. jewelry.  She is so sad.  I thought that I would give her this card.  It breaks my heart that someone would do that and she had been telling us the story of how they took the rings that her husband have her when they were dating (16 yrs old) and they are retired now...Wow! they have been together a long time.  Also that they took her husbands father's war metals.  Totally wrong.  It is so terrible that someone would violate their home and take something that wasn't theirs.  The Police have been there twice now gathering evidence.  I hope they catch the thieves and punish them greatly.

The best Medicine is YOU!

Definitely, Friendship is the best medicine.  I have a nurse that I work with that always comes in to pretty much set up camp when she comes in.  Coffee in hand, papers, book bag, and when she takes all her GARB out of her bag; coffee cup full of pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors....It is so funny.  I have to chuckle...I said to her last night.  "I am waiting for you to take out a picture of your family and set that up next to all of your stuff"  We had a great laugh.  Anyways, I got the idea of this little baby in a picture frame and she can put it next to her while she works.  This is the card that I made to go with the frame.  I hope you like....

Wow!  I just have to say that I just my shipment of roses from Wild Orchid.  They are beautiful!  I could sit in my office and play and create all day.  Anyways, I just got finished with this card for my Supervisor, whom is getting married soon.  The shower is this weeks.  I wasn't sure what to get her so this card and a gift card was my idea.

I know it is just a baby and I have been giving you my educated guess about what you are having since you told me you were preggie  and I definitely think that you are having a GIRL!  We have all been trying to get you to find out what you are having and all you can say is I'm having a BABY!  OK, GF we get it and well, its just that we are planning your shower and none of us like yellow and green for baby showers.  Oh well we'll deal.  So, anyways, I made you this beautiful card.  ( Notice that there is pink and blue in it ;)  just so I can make a point.

I Pray For You!

I Am So Sorry About Your Girls!

Well about 3 months ago we got baby chicken's because it was almost 2 years to the day that we had our coop invaded by a fishercat and it slaughtered all of our chickens....left them for dead and our beloved rooster Oscar mamed.  My heartbroken husband had to put down his Oscar.  Well make a long story short.  We had a new brood of chickens and they were out in the coop about a month and you guessed it.  Another dam fishercat got in and destroyed our nuggets.  All 20 of our new girls gone.  Again the anguish.  My poor hubs had to go out there again and gather up all his hard work raising his baby girls and bury them.  I feel so bad for him.  I decided to make this card for him.  On the inside is the little farmer boy. with a sincere message to him.  (sorry, girls that is private so I didn't take a pcx of the inside before I took the pcx)  Anyways, here is the deets to this card too.
